Abstract: Against the backdrop of major global challenges in water security and energy transition, academic research and technological innovation in the field of water resources and hydropower engineering urgently require an open, efficient, and international dissemination platform. Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Technology (ISSN 3081-1392 / 3081-1406, CODEN: SSGKCE), a gold open access (Gold OA) bilingual academic journal published by Quest Press Limited, is committed to building a bridge connecting fundamental theoretical research in water resources with major engineering practices. This paper systematically elaborates on the journal’s core positioning, academic features, scope of submissions, publishing model, open access policy, global database coverage, and submission guidelines.
